Summer Update
I haven't posted anything in awhile. We have been really busy the past two weeks. We just haven't had anything to post about. We have been enjoying weddings, birthdays, family reunions, summer socials, tractor shows and tractor remodeling, and helping Andrea and Byron get her house ready to put on the market. We haven't been home a lot lately. Camping has come to an abrupt halt this summer. The heat is unbearable and we don't want to take Conner outside for too long unless it is necessary. So, the camper sits until this fall. Today, we are staying home and taking a breather. We haven't spent a whole day at home in months. It is nice to kick back and soak up some AC. We hope everyone is staying cool and enjoying these last few weeks of Summer.

Kevin and Ashley
My cousin Kevin married his high school sweetheart yesterday. They have dated for 8 years and finally tied the knot. We went to the wedding and then to the reception where a transformer blew outside and took out the air conditioner. Even though it was HOT, we had a good time. Conner was soooo.... tired, but he did a little dancing. He was almost too tired to stand up on the dance floor, but he gave a few twirls. Sophie on the other hand cut a rug.

Old Friends
On the 5th, some old friends from Jeffersonville came to town for a visit. We used to get together all the time. It was nothing for them to drive here for a weekend or for us to go there for a weekend. Then came kids. The road trips came to a stop. It has been a long time since we have all gotten together. We all went to Stanton and Shirley's and grilled out and swam. It was a great day. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. It was great to see Dennis, Kim, and Emmy..JPG)

Tractor Fun
My dad and his friend, Jim Seitz have been restoring two Antique Oliver tractors the last 2 months. We went up last night to see the progress. Jim also has another old tractor there. The three tractors will be on display this 4th of July weekend in my parents front yard by the highway if anyone is up that way. Stop in and take a look at their work. They would love to have you. Conner got to ride the tractors around the yard and was in heaven.
