Wednesday, we drove to Silver Lake to rent a jeep and go out on Mac Dunes. Conner was not at all interested in the idea when he saw that the jeep we were going to rent doesn't have a top. But, after much convincing, he agreed. He thought it was pretty cool during the trip ride to the dunes and the 15 mph speed limit. Then, we went up our first steep hill. Screams all the way up and tears all the way down. So, needless to say, it was an expensive excursion, so Steve dropped Conner and I off at the Beach by Lake Michigan and went out without us for awhile. I'm glad he got to enjoy it. Later, he picked us up and we trolled around on mostly level ground and Conner thought that was awesome. He even wanted to buy some postcards at the gift shop to show his friends at school what he got to do.
