Michigan Day 2

Conner just couldn't wait to get back to the beach and play in the sand. So, Monday, we went to the beach. It was so windy and about 70 degrees. Conner quickly decided this was not for him. So, he saw the lighthouses and wanted to take the hike out to them and explore, so we did. It was a long hike for little legs, but he was determined to get there.

Then, we drove into town and ate lunch on the Muskegon River at an outside restaraunt.

That evening, Aunt Elaine made us another home cooked meal, then we went with Scott, Austin, and Brian to Maranatha to play on the beach and watch the sunset.

                        

 

Michigan 2012

Our Michigan Vacation started Saturday. We got up at 5 a.m. and were on the road by 6:30am. We made it to Muskegon by 3p.m. our time. We went out to eat with Aunt Elaine, Tracy, Brett, Drew, and Katie at the Station Grill. Then, we took Conner down to Pere Marquette Park to see the water and the sand. His reaction when we came around the curve was priceless.  He covered his face and said "I have never seen anything like this!!!!" That evening, we went to Russ's to have dessert and see Cousin Mike at work.

Sunday, we went to Grand Rapids and took Conner to the Children's Museum there and had lunch outside at the "Cat Hole" Restaurant.

In Daycare- Conner's current science project is studying Honey Bees. There happened to be a whole big display on Honey Bees at the museum,

Meat Sale Fundraiser

Today, we had a meat sale fundraiser for my friend Jamie. This was only part of my crew!

We had a lot of great helpers and raised a lot of money!

Kelsey's Sweet 16

Kelsey's Sweet 16 Birthday party was today at Brenda and Gerry's. It was a beautiful day with great food and company! We are so proud of Kelsey. She is such a beautiful, smart, and talented young lady who is very special to us. We love you Kelsey!

Hannah's T-Ball

Conner and I got to watch Hannah play her last game of the season! She did great!!!!!

SOLD!

We just sold our house! It only took 6 weeks! The best part is, the buyers are in a lease til Sept 31st, so we get to rent our own house from the new owners until October 1. This gives us 4 months to look for a house, buy, or find a temporary apartment, pack, and move. This is a sweet deal!

Harper's Dedication

Harper Kathleen was dedicated to God, Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Panther Creek Baptist Church in Utica, KY. Her whole family was present. It was a very special day for Ms. Harper.
