Disney Day 2 - Epcot in the Morning

This morning, we did Epcot. We happen to be there during the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Everything was made out of flowers!
We only planned 1/2 day for Epcot, because a lot of it is geared toward adults. When we all went back for nap, Steve stayed and explored it more.
1st stop, Spaceship Earth, where we went up in the Epcot ball on the tram. Conner actually loved this. When asked about the best part of his day, it was going up in the Epcot ball.
We also did the Seas with Nemo and Friends, and Turtle Talk with Crush. Next, it was time for lunch and nap. After nap, we did a little pool time.

Exhausted!

Disney Day 1- Hollywood Studios

After landing at Sandford/ Orlando Airport, Mr. Bob picked us up and took us to our Resort, Disney All Star Movies. We were greeted with balloons at the entrance and when we checked in , Conner got a Birthday Button to wear all week so everyone knew he was there to celebrate his Birthday!
I can honestly say, he was told Happy Birthday, no less than two hundred times this week by every Disney employee he passed. They really made him feel special.

We checked in, and headed to the Sci-Fine Dine In Theater for our 3 pm lunch Reservation.
We ate in a car and watched movies. The food was amazing. We bought the Disney Dining Plan for the vacation and it won't let you go hungry.

After lunch, we went to see the Beauty and the Beast Musical. Then, off to Disney's Animation to meet Wreck it Ralph and Mickey Mouse. After this, the kids were begging to go to bed. That's a first. We went back to our hotel restaurant and had a late, 9 pm dinner. Conner fell asleep in his chair. Time for Bed!!!

He said his favorite part of Monday was flying in the plane!

In Mr. Bob's Truck, ready to see Disney World.

The Plane was so exciting they slept all the way to Disney!

They were greeted at the Disney All Star Movies Resort with Red carpet and Balloons!

They all Three got their driver's license. They were the designated driver's so the parents all drank. One parent a little more than the other three.

DisneyWorld 2013- The Plane

We vacationed in Disney World this week along with the Wollenmanns. We stayed from April 22-26, 2013. We flew out of Owensboro, KY direct to Orlando, FL. This was the first time on a plane for Conner, Sophie, and Abby. They all did great. Conner said it was the best part of the whole trip. So, the plane ride deserves its very own post.

He was just soooo... exctied. Our flight was scheduled for 8:40 am. We leave the house at 6 am, get to the airport, do all that waiting. Board at 8am. We sit on the plane, all excited, then at 8:40 am when we are supposed to take off, the pilot gets on the intercom and tells us that today is the first day of the $85 million dollar budget cuts to the air traffic controller furloughs.
There was not a problem at Owensboro, but Orlando had just called and said they were backed up and we were going to have to sit for 40 minutes. Just what a mom wants to hear with a first time flyer sitting next to her. He did great. He just asked a thousand times, "When are going to fly?"

The Luggage claim might have been the most intersting part!!!!
