We're Home!

We are home from Florida. We left Navarre Beach Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. and got home at 7 p.m. Saturday night. We made great time. Stopped only twice for an hour and a half total. Conner was happy and content 95% of the trip home which made it easy to keep going. We were prepared to stop and spend the night if need be. He was an angel.
The vacation week with my family was great. We had a lot of fun and made a lot of memories. The beach and island were beautiful. It is very small and not very commercialized. This is just right for us. The house was out of this world beautiful. We were right on our own private beach! The view was amazing. I would recommend this house to anyone.
The weather was perfect. It was between 90 and 100 each day. The gulf temperature was 84 degrees. There was always a slight breeze. The water was never too choppy to play in. The sand was the perfect temperature to sink your toes and butt in and feel cozy and comfy.
During our week vacation with my parents, siblings, brother-in-laws, nieces, husband, and son, many laughs were had and memories made. We spent a lot of time on the beach playing in the sand, watching waves, diving for shells, flying kites, building small sandcastles, floating on inner tubes, looking for crabs, and riding the waves.
We also found a pirate's treasure washed up on our beach and found star fish during our picture night. One time, from our balcony, we saw three sets of dolphins playing at the same time together. Probably 10 total.
We also went to the Blue Angels Practice, The National Aviation Museum, Rode Wave Runners, visited the Gulfarium, had Christmas in June, Went to a water park, and had professional family photos on the beach. Dad and Steve went fishing on the pier. We also saw a giant sea turtle swimming under the pier which was probably one of my most exciting vacation moments. It was kind of one of those moments that take
your breath away.
Besides all of the fun and new things we did, we spent a whole week with family.
Laughing, drinking, playing, and eating. My parents made huge meals each day. No one could possibly go hungry this week. We ate tons of great food.
All fun must come to an end. We have now returned home where we must unpack and go back to our every day lives. We definitely need to get Conner back on a schedule. The poor kid slept until 8:45 a.m. this morning and was begging to take his nap at 12:30. He even tried to climb in his own crib.
Thanks to all of my family for our great trip!!!!!!!
Love you All!!
