It has been forever since I have posted on the Elfreich Family blog which means Conner is way more exciting than Steve and I.
We are just as busy as always. Steve's business is booming! He is finishing a large kitchen/room addition this week. He has been there since January. It is one of his biggest jobs yet and absolutely something to be very proud of. It is like something you would see in a magazine with his skills and perfection stamped all over it. He should start his own blog for Elfreich General Contracting so everyone can appreciate his talent. I am very proud of him!
Luckily, we have a long list of clients waiting on his services which can become overwhelming at times but we know we are fortunate to have repeat customers and new ones wanting his talents used on their homes!
Steve is also 2 weeks out from Carpal Tunnel Surgery. Something he had put off for two years too many. The Nerve Conduction Test showed signs of Nerve damage from waiting too long and there was no more time to put it off, so we had to proceed during the large room addition. But, thankfully, the surgery was a huge success and breeze for Steve and it didn't even slow him down 24 hours. Thankfully, the hand healed great and all the symptoms prior to surgery are gone now. Looks like the nerve damage was reversible by releasing the band over his nerve!
Conner is a busy bee as you know from his own blog. It was like the boy gained a new life when the weather warmed up. You can't keep him inside now. As soon as his little feet hit the floor, he will say
"let's go outside." He just can't stop talking about summer and going fishing, and camping, and holiday world. We are just lucky to have an unseasonably warm March to play. He is just weeks away from turning 3. He is growing like a weed and getting funnier and smarter every day!
We have had our house for sale with House Hunters since August 2011. It is only listed in their publication and not with a realtor. This was a big mistake for us. One we will learn from. So, we are in a contract with them until April 13. So, April 14th, our house will be on the market with a Realtor of a different Company and hopefully we can sell and start a new chapter in our life with a new home! We are starting to spruce things up around here getting it ready for Market!
I am pretty boring. Still working at the Surgery Center 4 days a week. I am staying busy planning Conner's Birthday party, cleaning house for Market, making crafts off of Pinterest, a new recipe at least once a week off of Pinterest, and looking forward to starting a 4 week class at Ivy Tech in April to teach me how to use all the features of my camera.
We have all been sick with Respiratory illness for the last 5 weeks. We never really get sick, but this time we all did, and we just now are starting to shake it. We have all had 2 rounds of Antibiotics and steroids each. The amount of money on co-pays, prescriptions, and time sitting in doctors offices or MECS (my biggest hate) over the last 5 weeks makes me ill in itself. I think we are all finally on the uphill healthy climb!
That's about it here. Looking forward to summer and all the fun that comes along with it!
Hoping all of our followers are Well!
Take Care!
