7 Months

Thursday was our 28 week ultrasound. We will be having an ultrasound every week from now on because he is so big and considered high risk. He is weighing in at 3lbs 6 oz.. This is almost a pound overweight. He is measuring about 3 weeks ahead now, weight wise. His organs are still not mature yet. Other than being fat, he seems to be healthy. He did give us a scare on Thursday because he wasn't showing signs of using his lungs, which is supposed to be doing at this time (It's called his practice breathing). This threw up a red flag to our peri-natal specialist and she made us come back Friday morning and repeat the ultrasound. He finally cooperated and made some lung movement on Friday morning, so we all sighed a sigh of RELIEF. Thank God. His heart is strong and he is a very active boy. He kicks and rolls all the time. Sometimes it feels like he rearranging furniture in there.

He is Bald. They can tell if the baby has hair or not. The ultrasound tech said that as of Friday morning, He has only a few strands of hair.
